The poppies created by artist Joanne Dennis for the exhibition 'Lest We Forget' have been installed at the Puller Memorial school in High Cross, Hertfordshire. They have become part of a commemoraation of the soilders of WW1 who left from High Cross, especially Lt. Col Arthur Martin-Leake who was awarded two Victoria Cross medals. One of only three soilders ever to be awarded this highest of commendations. The gallery is proud that we have been able to spread these beautiful pieces to another community to create another contemplative exhibition. They will return to the gallery and are still for sale with each poppy costing £10 with the monies going to The Royal British Legion and Harlow Art Trust. Get in contact with the gallery to find out how to purchase a poppy.
