We are delighted that Michael Middleton, an informed witty speaker, whose two artworks 'Hanging cups' and 'Still life in kitchen' are part of the Sir Frederick Gibberd collection will be giving a talk at the gallery on the 1st November at 11.30am. He is an associate member of the Royal Society of Painter Printmakers and also the Royal Watercolour Society and has exhibited recently at the Minories, Colchester with 12Printmakers. He shows his work at Bankside Gallery, South Bank, The Mall and the Royal Academy and lectures at Colchester Institute of Art.
in this talk he will discuss a selection of his works, his techniques and how his work came to be part of the collection.
Michael also teaches degree students at the Colchester Institute
at 11.30 in the gallery.
